Hello all my dear watchers :hug:

Recently I became co-founder of a Nanatsu no Taizai group -> :iconnanatsu-no-taizai-ns:
So if you like Nanastu no Taizai, please join!
We're planning to make a contest soon, just in case you're interested ;P

Well, my winter break ends this week :iconfinallyplz:

Lately I watched two movies that were quite disappointing in my opinion. Maybe the reason is that I had great expectations and well... The actual movies didn't fulfill them.

The first one is the new Ghibli movie, "The Tale of Princess Kaguya".
The animation is quite original and it starts really heart-warming but... It just takes too long to tell its own story, and to be honest I was waiting for it to be less... well, less shallow. I know it's based on a japanese folklore story, but the movie just felt pretentious to me. Like it considered it was telling a great profound tale when in reality it wasn't. Just my opinion though, if someone thinks this was a great movie and I just didn't understand it, then I'll gladly hear what they have to say.

The other movie that disappointed me was Birdman. Again, I was expecting to be amazed by this movie, and I wasn't. Like the previous one, it starts really good, I liked the portrayal of the theater and the characters all seemed really interesting. But then it's like the movie didn't have an ending that matched the beginning... I mean, the movie asks many moral and existential questions that it just fails to answer in the end. As if the creators weren't really sure what message they wanted to convey. Once again, it's just my opinion, maybe I just didn't understand it.

I also watched an anime from the last anime season, Barakamon. It's a really cute slice of life comedy. Even if it's nothing great, I really liked it a lot. If you have some spare time and like heart-warming series, give it a watch.

And now that I'm done rambling, here are a couple of artists I think deserve more love :heart:

:star: First we have areshia-channnn. I think she has a pretty style, and all her drawings are incredibly cute. Here some of her works:

:star: Then we have raposavyk I love her coloring style, and her Magi pieces are my favorite from her gallery. Here some of her works:

Focalor by raposavyk  Ren Hakuryuu by raposavyk  That Smile by raposavyk Wormworld Saga Fanart by raposavyk

Well, that's all for now.

I'll probably open commissions again soon.

See ya!
